Why having a website is important?

Question: My business is very small, just me and two employees, and our product really can’t be sold online. Do I really need a website?

Answer: Yes. The point to be made here is that you should at the very least have a presence on the web so that customers, potential employees, business partners and perhaps even investors can quickly and easily find out more about your business and the products or services you have to offer.

There are still a lot of small businesses that do not have websites, there are various reasons for this but mostly it comes down to the belief that they are expensive. It is rather surprising how much small business owners believe a website will cost them. In truth a website can be built for very little money and if you are on a tight budget you can even get free websites. Remember you don’t need a giant ten thousand page website for your business, just a simple site that tells people about your company and your products will be more than enough.

Importance of responsive design.

We all know smartphones and tablets aren’t going away anytime soon. The ability to build websites that can adapt seamlessly from desktop computers to tablets to mobile phones is increasing in importance everyday. And that we call responsive web design.

Mobile web browsing would overtake desktop within a few years time, and now, many major websites have more of their traffic coming from mobile devices.
